WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?

It is early days for Mug Tom. Will it dare to become a household name like Moonpig? At the present moment these hand drawn mugs are a cottage industry and will only be available in the United Kingdom. But soon I will learn this industry and with others will expand to other markets. So imagine one day someone is using one of my mugs to drink their Tetley in Tibet.

WHO WRITES AND DRAWS THESE BEAUTIES?

Me! I am a local artist called Tom Morton and I am the founder of Mug Tom. My first days in art was when I used to draw lots of pretty shopfronts that captured the magic and aura of my seaside town home Lytham. But then I had a Eureka moment.
The commissions and urban landscapes I would draw in great detail would take a week to complete. However the clipart I would draw to dress these pictures would take minutes. And they look beautiful on mugs. And the words and quotes that accompany the art reflect the comedy and spirit of this World.
And it wasn't long before I realised the enormous gap in the market, and that the perfect online bazaar for this art and verbal narrative was mugs. And it is certainly much more fun than writing your life away drawing a million bricks and mortar.

CAN I USE THESE MUGS?

Of course. That is exactly what they are there for. They are perfect as gifts or some doodah objet d'art fun ornaments, but yes you use them like any other mug or drinking vessel. They are microwave friendly and you can stick them in the dishwasher a billion times. And the artwork is as permanent as the stars above.

I originally was going to call my site Mug Pig. But then I thought that would really piss Moonpig off and they can afford better lawyers than me. Then I used my own name Tom. So thank you Uncle Tommy!
